Due to the possibility of a possible H1N1 pandemic, I see the need to publish this post. Hey, students and friends of TM, do watch out for the following symptoms.

The symptoms of H1N1 (swine) flu in people are similar to the symptoms of regular human flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. Some people have reported diarrhea and vomiting associated with H1N1 (swine) flu. In the past, severe illness (pneumonia and respiratory failure) and deaths have been reported with H1N1 (swine) flu infection in people. Like seasonal flu, H1N1 (swine) flu may cause a worsening of underlying chronic medical conditions.
Fast breathing or trouble breathing
Bluish or gray skin color
Not drinking enough fluids
Severe or persistent vomiting
Not waking up or not interacting
Being so irritable that the child does not want to be held
Flu-like symptoms improve but then return with fever and worse cough
In adults, emergency warning signs that need urgent medical attention include:

Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
Pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen
Sudden dizziness
Confusion
Severe or persistent vomiting
Flu-like symptoms improve but then return with fever and worse cough
And finally, if you have been abroad, particularly to infected countries, please stay at home for about 5 days before returning for tuition classes. It will certainly alleviate the worries of the rest of the students and their parents.
A little thought means so much.
Remember, 'Health is golden'. Take good care people. =)

The Mentor

First set up in 1994 at Potong Pasir, it started off as a tuition agency. However due to my passion in teaching, i started conducting small tuition classes. Throughout the years, I've tutored numerous students and friendships and bonds have been developed. The Mentor has seen its highs and lows, and I am still struggling to overcome several obstacles. Thanks to all students and parents who have trusted and supported me, appreciate it lots.
